Queens add Whippy to their roster

Tokomanawa Queens (Tauihi Basketball Aoteroa) added to their roster 32-year old Fijian guard Letava Whippy (175cm-1991, college: LIU Brooklyn). The last time (2020-2021) she played at Capital Swish Wellington in New Zealand WBC league. Whippy missed last two seasons and had longer break from professional basketball.
She represented Fiji at the Pacific Games in Apia (Samoa) four years ago. Whippy's team won Silver and her stats at that event were 5 games: 13.0ppg, 10.8rpg, 1.6apg, Steals-5 (3.0spg), FGP: 50.9%, FT: 58.3%.
Whippy is a very experienced player.
She graduated from Long Island University in 2015 and it will be her ninth season as a professional player.
